What To Expect

Exact flight times vary by location, but here’s what you can expect from a typical zero gravity flight day:

Pre-Flight

Check-in with your government-issued ID at the designated time and location provided by our Guest Support team. After receiving your boarding pass, flight suit, and Zero-G merchandise, you will have time to relax and eat a flight-approved light breakfast.

Once all guests have checked in, you will receive a brief pre-flight safety orientation and an opportunity to meet your Flight Crew. Lastly, you will proceed through TSA security screening, take photos next to G-Force One, and board the aircraft.

In-Flight

Once boarded, you will remain seated for both takeoff and landing. After reaching our designated airspace, Flight Attendants will instruct you to enter the floating zone and lie flat on your back in preparation for the first parabola.

You will then proceed to experience 15 parabolas over the course of your flight, with each parabola offering about ~30 seconds of zero gravity. During this time, our professional photographers and mounted cameras will capture every moment so you can relive the experience for years to come.

Post-Flight

Upon landing, you will be greeted for a Regravitation celebration followed by a a champagne toast or sparkling apple cider. You will also have an opportunity to view your flight’s profile, including the changes in speed and altitude as each parabola was conducted.

How long does the experience last?

The entire experience requires approximately 4.5 to 5 hours total, but the flight itself lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Pre-flight time includes check-in, changing into flight suits, breakfast, orientation, security screening, and boarding the aircraft. Post-flight time includes a regravitation celebration, presenting your flight pin, and a champagne toast.

How early do I need to book my seat?

It’s not uncommon for flights to sell out ~30 days in advance. To avoid missing out on your preferred flight date, we recommend booking a seat as soon as possible.

What’s included in the flight?

Every public Zero-G ticket includes:

  • 15 parabolas
  • Zero-G flight suit (yours to keep!)
  • Zero-G merchandise
  • Regravitation celebration
  • Flight completion pin
  • Champagne toast
  • Photos and videos of your experience

Your entire flight day, from start to finish, will take about 5 hours.

Will I get motion sick?

It’s highly unlikely that you will experience motion sickness during the flight.

With over 20 years of experience conducting over 850+ flights, we know how to ensure that our guests have the most comfortable experience possible–even if you’re naturally prone to motion sickness.

On flight day, we’ll provide you with optional non-drowsy Dramamine as well as an anti-nausea wearable. You’ll also receive detailed instructions from your Flight Coach about what causes motion sickness in zero gravity and how to avoid it.

Can I bring a bag onboard?

No, carry-on items and bags are not allowed onboard G-Force One during the flight. The only items that may accompany you onboard are those which fit in your pocket. All other items will be securely stored inside the briefing room until you return.

Do I need a photo ID in order to check in for my flight?

Yes, all guests are required to present a government-issued photo ID at check-in. Non-U.S. citizens must check in using their passports, just like on a normal commercial flight.

Will I experience lunar gravity too?

Yes, each flight begins with about 2 Lunar parabolas to help gradually acclimate you to the sensations of reduced gravity. During the Lunar parabolas, you’ll experience one-sixth of Earth’s gravity.

How much time will I spend in zero gravity?

You’ll float through 15 parabolas, with each offering ~30 seconds of weightlessness. By the end of the flight, you will log up to 7.5 minutes in zero gravity.

Fun fact: You’ll log about as much zero gravity time as Alan Shepard experienced on America’s first human spaceflight.

How many parabolas are included on each flight?

We’ll conduct 15 parabolas during your flight, with each one allowing you to experience zero gravity for approximately 30 seconds.
